Tasty Me biscuit/sponge cake – light, airy and always a hit! This classic is known for its fine, soft texture and neutral flavor. Not heavy or dense, but a sponge that stays light and easily absorbs flavors. That’s exactly what makes it so popular.
You can recognize a good sponge cake right away: light in weight, soft on the inside and sturdy enough to hold its shape. Not too sweet, so you can fully adapt it to your own taste. Finish it off with your favorites: fresh fruit, chocolate, sprinkles, or anything else you love.
Ingredients:
- 400 g mix
- 350 g eggs (7 medium eggs)
- 35 ml water
Preparation: Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (convection oven 165 °C). Mix the mix, eggs, and water in a bowl. Beat for 8–10 minutes on high speed and pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
Baking time: 35–40 minutes.
For Ø 20 cm: divide the recipe by 2.
