Our Tasty Me buttercream is perfect for smoothly covering cupcakes or cakes, piping beautiful swirls, or decorating however you like. Start with a smooth base layer and add piping on top? No problem! Prefer cheerful rosettes on your cupcakes? That’s always a great choice!
The buttercream is easy to color with our food colorings, so you can get creative. From clean and elegant to fun and bold - the possibilities are endless. And let’s be honest: sneaking a spoonful in between is just part of the fun.
Ingredients:
- 200 g mix
- 135 ml water
- 240 g soft (cream) butter
Preparation: ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Mix the mix and the water in a bowl until smooth and let it rest for 1 hour. Beat or mix the soft (cream) butter for 2 minutes. Add half of the mixture to the beaten butter and mix until it is well incorporated. Finally, add the rest of the mixture and mix again for 5 minutes.
TIP: Made too much? Buttercream freezes well; let thaw before use and briefly mix again.

Ingredients: sugar, dextrose, modified starch, non-hydrogenated vegetable oil (coconut oil), glucose syrup, corn starch, skimmed MILK powder, thickener: E404 (calcium alginate); flavours, MILK protein, acidity regulator: E330 (citric acid); emulsifiers: E472a (acetic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), E471 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids); stabiliser: E340 (potassium phosphates).
May contain: MILK, EGG, SOY, NUTS.
Keep dry and cool and avoid heat sources.
The mixes are produced in a gluten-free facility and Tasty Me can therefore guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20mg / 20ppm gluten per kg. From this low amount, most people with celiac disease or glutensitivity do not experience any symptoms.
