Gluten-free - lactose-free - vegetarian 

Our Tasty Me carrot cake is anything but boring. It is wonderfully moist, full of flavor, and just the right amount of spiced so that with every bite you think: one more then…. The carrot in the batter gives it that nice, soft texture (really!), while a creamy topping perfectly completes it. 

You can easily make the topping with our buttercream or cream chantilly, depending on the taste and appearance you are aiming for. Soft, moist, and ready to be decorated: this cake is perfect to top with walnuts, raisins, or apricots for just that little extra. 

Ingredients:
  • 400 g mix 
  • 120 g (cream) butter 
  • 200 g eggs (4 pieces, size M) 
  • 150 g grated carrot 
Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with seed oil such as sunflower or rapeseed.

Preparation: ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (convection oven 160 °C). Mix the mix, butter, and eggs for 3 minutes at medium speed until the batter is thicker and paler. Add the grated carrot. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan of Ø20/22cm. 

Baking time (middle of the oven): 45-50 minutes, then immediately remove from the baking pan and allow to cool on a wire rack. 
Baking time for cupcakes: 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients: sugar, rice flour, maize starch, humectant: E420 (sorbitol); emulsifier: E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), E471 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids); raising agents: E450 (diphosphates), E500 (sodium carbonates); thickener: E412 (guar gum) , E466 (carboxymethylcellulose); spices, salt, acidity regulator: E575 (glucono-delta-lacton).

May contain: MILK, EGGS, SOY, NUTS.

Keep dry and cool and avoid heat sources. 

The mixes are produced in a gluten-free facility and Tasty Me can therefore guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20mg / 20ppm gluten per kg. From this low amount, most people with celiac disease or glutensitivity do not experience any symptoms.
