Bake a delicious chocolate biscuit with this mix from Zeelandia raw material. The biscuit, also called chapel is the perfect base for chocolate cakes due to its delicious chocolate taste.
Essentials for a 26 cm round cake:
330g mix, 200g egg (= 4 eggs size M), 70ml water, mixer, baking tin, a little butter to grease baking tin.
Preparation:
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature and preheat the oven to 180°C (hot-air oven 160°C). Mix all ingredients with a mixer for approx. 7 minutes on high speed. Continue mixing on low speed for 2-3 minutes (so that any air bubbles in the batter disappear). Butter the baking tin and fill it (1/2 to 2/3 full) with the batter and bake the cake for about 30 minutes. The cake is done when it feels springy to the touch. Immediately after baking, remove from the baking tin and let it dry out for a while on a wire rack.
Caution:
Do not open the oven in between baking.
Ingredients:
Sugar, TARWE flour, TARWE starch, skimmed cocoa powder, emulsifiers E472b and E477, glucose syrup, raising agents E450 and E500, skimmed MILK powder, salt, vegetable oil (rapeseed), aroma. May contain traces of: rye, barley, oats, spelt, egg, soya, sesame and lupin.
Store dry and cool at maximum 25°C and avoid heat sources.
