This is the kind of mix that immediately creates a cozy atmosphere. Whether you go for cookies or an apple pie, you're in the right place here. That aroma alone... it makes you want to turn on the oven immediately. 

The result? Cookies with a nice crispy edge and a soft inside, or an apple pie with a beautiful golden brown crust and that fine, rich flavor. Exactly how you want it. And the best part is: you can go in any direction with it. Go for the classic version with apple, raisins, and cinnamon, or create your own variation. 

Ingredients:
  • 400 g mix 
  • 160 g soft (cream) butter 
  • 1 egg (medium size) 
  • For apple pie filling: apples (such as Elstar or Jonagold, approx. 1 kg), raisins, cinnamon). 
    Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with seed oil such as sunflower or rapeseed.
Kitchen equipment:
  • Mixer with dough hooks 
  • Rolling pin 
  • Non-stick mat (or a little buckwheat or potato starch) 
  • Baking paper 
  • Cookie cutters 
  • For apple pie: springform pan 22-24cm diameter 
Preparation: ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 165 °C (fan oven 150 °C). Mix the mix with the butter and beat until the mixture becomes crumbly. Add the egg and beat until smooth. Roll out the dough on a non-stick surface (mat or on a little flour). 

  • Cookies: cut out cookies of approx. 10 cm. Baking time: approx. 20-25 minutes. 
  • Apple pie: roll out the dough and reserve about ¼ for the top. Butter the pan and line the bottom and sides. Fill as desired with diced apple, raisins, a little sugar, and cinnamon. Arrange the strips of dough in a diamond pattern on the top. Baking time: in the middle of the oven approx. 45-50 minutes.

Rice flour, sugar, maize starch, thickener: guar gum, carboxymethylcellulose; emulsifiers: polyglyceride esters of fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; acidity regulator: glucono delta lactone; flavourings, salt. May contain traces of: milk proteins, egg, soya and nuts. 

Keep dry and cool and avoid heat sources.  

The mixes are produced in a gluten-free facility and Tasty Me can therefore guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20mg / 20ppm gluten per kg. From this low amount, most people with celiac disease or glutensitivity do not experience any symptoms.
