Delicious just as it is, but also extra festive with additions like finely chopped ginger, lemon zest, cinnamon or a hint of speculoos flavouring. Easy to make, full of flavour and always a great idea with the holidays just around the corner!
Ingredients:
- 400 g mix
- 200 g eggs (4 pieces size M)
- 125 g soft (cream)butter or oil
Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with 125 g vegetable oil, such as sunflower or rapeseed oil
Kitchen equipment:
- Bowl
- Mixer
- Cake tin (round approx. 20 cm or rectangular approx. 28 cm)
Preparation: make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (convection oven 160 °C). Lightly grease the cake tin. Mix the mix, the butter or oil, and the eggs in a bowl and mix for approximately 5 minutes at medium speed. If desired, add extra ingredients such as finely chopped ginger, lemon zest, and cinnamon or speculoos flavouring. Pour the batter into the cake tin, place it in the centre of the oven, and bake for approximately 50 minutes. Delicious with a dollop of cream chantilly or whipped cream.

Ingredients: sugar, rice flour, corn starch, humectant: E420 (sorbitol), rice starch, cinnamon 1.5%, ginger 1%, emulsifiers: E471 (mono‑ and diglycerides of fatty acids, vegetable), E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), raising agents: E450 (diphosphates), E500 (sodium carbonates), acidity regulator: E575 (glucono‑delta‑lactone), thickeners: E412 (guar gum), E466 (carboxymethyl cellulose), salt, cloves, nutmeg.
May contain: MILK, EGGS, SOY, NUTS
Store in a cool, dry and dark place and avoid heat sources.
The mixes are produced in a gluten‑free facility and Tasty Me can therefore guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20 mg / 20 ppm gluten per kg. From this low amount, most people with celiac disease or glutensitivity do not experience any symptoms.
