Ingredients:
- 300 g mix
- 150 ml hot water
- 75 g egg (2 piecies size S, weigh out)
- 75 ml whole milk
- (frying)oil
- Possibly 200 g currants, raisins and/or apple
- Possibly icing sugar or confectioners' sugar
Kitchen equipment:
- Bowl
- Mixer with dough hooks
- Ice cream scoop or 2 spoons
Preparation: ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Soak the currants and raisins in lukewarm water for a while (15 min). Mix the mix, water, milk and eggs into a smooth batter at high speed for a few minutes. Add the soaked raisins (and/or apple) and stir briefly by hand. Let the dough rest at room temperature (approx. 25 degrees) covered with cling film for 40 minutes. Heat (deep-frying) oil to approx. 170 °C (pan or fryer). Fry for approx. 3-4 minutes until cooked and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with icing sugar or sugar baking powder.

The mixes are produced in a gluten-free facility and Tasty Me can therefore guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20 mg / 20 ppm gluten per kg. From this low amount, most people with celiac disease or glutensitivity do not experience any symptoms.
