Our Tasty Me Red Velvet Cake mix is a velvety soft, red-colored cake with a subtle chocolate flavor.

This red velvet cake mix is perfect for filling. Go for our buttercream if you want it a bit firmer and richer – deliciously creamy and slightly more indulgent. Prefer something lighter? Then our Chantilly cream is a perfect match and keeps the cake wonderfully light.

Cupcakes or a beautiful layer cake, finished neatly or playfully: with this mix, you can’t go wrong. A great choice if you want to bake something that looks as good as it tastes.

Ingredients:

400 g mix
140 g (cream) butter
200 g eggs (4 medium size)

Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with seed oil such as sunflower or rapeseed oil.

Preparation: ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (convection oven 160 °C). Mix the mix, butter, and eggs on moderate speed for 5 minutes until smooth batter forms. Pour the batter into a greased baking tin of Ø18/20 cm.

Baking time (middle of the oven): 45-50 minutes, then immediately remove from the baking pan and let cool on an wire rack.
Baking time for cupcakes: 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients: sugar, rice flour, corn starch, humectant: E420; emulsifiers: E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), E471 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, plant-based); cocoa powder, raising agents: E450 (diphosphates), E500 (sodium carbonates); acidity regulator: E575 (glucono-delta-lactone); thickeners: E412 (guar gum), E466 (sodium carboxymethylcellulose); salt, food coloring: E129* (allura red AC).
