There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread filling your home! With the Tasty Me White Bread mix, you can easily bake a deliciously soft and airy white loaf. The kind of bread you plan to have just one slice of… only to find yourself reaching for another before you know it!
Perfect for a hearty breakfast or a generously topped lunch. Whether you prefer a classic sandwich, a fully loaded lunch sandwich, or a toasted slice straight from the toaster, this bread is always a great choice!
Ingredients:
- 330 g mix
- 285 ml water (room temperature)
- 12 g oil (olive oil or seed oil, depending on your preference)
- 6-7 g salt
- 6 g instant yeast or 14 g fresh yeast
- Oven: preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan oven). Mix the yeast with the water and oil beforehand. Pour the liquid mixture into a bowl and add the bread mix and salt. Mix on medium speed for 10 minutes. Once the dough is ready, place it on a lightly floured working table and let it rest for 2 minutes. Dust or lightly grease your hands and shape the dough into 2 loaves. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Let the dough rise in a switched-off oven with only the oven light on for at least 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size. Baking time: 25 minutes.
- Bread machine: mix the yeast with the water and oil beforehand. Add the liquid mixture to the bread machine, followed by the bread mix and salt. Select the gluten-free program and remove the bread from the machine once the program has finished.
