The Tasty Me Red Velvet Cake Mix is the perfect base for a red velvet cake or red velvet cupcakes.
Gluten-free - lactose-free - no palm oil - no hydrogenated fats
Preparation:
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170°C (fan oven 160°C). Mix 2500g mix, 875g (cream) butter and 1250g eggs (25 medium eggs) for 5 minutes at medium speed until smooth. Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with 875g seed oil such as sunflower or rapeseed oil. Pour the batter into a greased baking tin. Baking time (middle of the oven): 45-50 minutes, then remove from the baking tin immediately and leave to cool on a wire rack. Cupcakes: Baking time 30-35 minutes.
Sugar, rice flour, starch (corn), humectant: E420; rice starch; emulsifiers: E471 (vegetable), E475; cocoa powder, raising agents: E450, E500; acidity regulator: E575; thickeners: E412, E466; salt, colouring agent: E129*. May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. May contain: milk proteins, eggs, soy and nuts.
