Our Tasty Me red velvet cake mix is a velvety soft, red-colored cake with a subtle chocolate flavor. 

This red velvet cake mix is perfect for filling. Go for our buttercream if you want it a bit firmer and richer – deliciously creamy and slightly more indulgent. Prefer something lighter? Then our Chantilly cream is a perfect match and keeps the cake wonderfully light. 

Cupcakes or a beautiful layer cake, finished neatly or playfully: with this mix, you can’t go wrong. A great choice if you want to bake something that looks as good as it tastes.

Ingredients:

  • 2500 g mix
  • 875 g (cream)butter
  • 1250 g eggs (25 pieces size M)

Lactose-free recipe: replace the butter with 875g seed oil such as sunflower or rapeseed oil.

Preparation: make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (fan oven 160 °C). Mix the mix, the (cream)butter and the eggs for 5 minutes at medium speed until smooth. Pour the batter into a greased baking tin. 

Baking time (middle of the oven): 45-50 minutes, then remove from the baking tin immediately and leave to cool on a wire rack. 
Baking time cupcakes: 30-35 minutes.
